Charlotte enters the series with a 22-14 overall record and a 10-5 record in conference play. They currently sit in second place in the East Division of C-USA, just behind Old Dominion. The 49ers have won six of their last seven games, including a sweep of Middle Tennessee State in their most recent series.

DBU, on the other hand, has dominated the West Division of C-USA, boasting a 28-9 overall record and a 14-1 conference record. The Patriots are currently ranked 14th in the nation by Baseball America and have won eight consecutive games.

Excitement Builds as Charlotte Prepares to Host DBU at The Hayes Stadium

The Hayes Stadium, which opened in 1984, is the home of the Charlotte 49ers baseball team. The stadium has a seating capacity of 3,000 and features a natural grass playing surface. It has undergone several renovations over the years, including a major renovation in 2016 that added new seating, a new press box, and a new scoreboard.

Fans are eagerly anticipating this matchup, as both Charlotte and DBU have strong baseball programs. The series is expected to be highly competitive, with both teams looking to improve their conference standings. The games will be broadcast live on ESPN+.

Charlotte is hoping to use their home-field advantage to upset the highly-ranked DBU team. The 49ers have been playing well lately and will look to continue their winning ways in front of their home crowd. DBU, however, is a tough opponent, and they will be looking to maintain their dominance in the conference.
