Do you ever feel like you’re being watched? That’s exactly how I felt one day when I received a notification on my phone. “Greetings,” it said, “I am your Amazon FBA Virtual Assistant. Please allow me to help you with your tasks today.” I was surprised, but also a little scared. I had no idea what this virtual assistant was capable of, so I thought it was best to just start running.
FOLLOWING MY VIRTUAL SHADOW
I felt a little silly running away from someone who wasn’t even real, but I figured I should take the possibility of anything happening seriously. I kept looking over my shoulder to see if my virtual assistant was following me. To my surprise, I could actually see a faint shadow of the assistant trailing me. Every time I stopped, the shadow would stop too and when I started running again, so did the shadow.
I was starting to get tired from all this running, but I wasn’t about to give up. I had no idea what this assistant was capable of and I didn’t want to take any chances. I continued to run until I reached a nearby park and ducked behind some trees. I thought I was safe until I heard a voice behind me. “Excuse me, do you need any help?”
RUNNING FROM AN AMAZON FBA ASSISTANT
I was so startled that I screamed and spun around. To my surprise, it wasn’t my virtual assistant but an elderly man with a kind face. “What are you running from?” he asked. I took a deep breath and tried to explain my situation. He listened patiently and then smiled. “I think you’re misunderstanding your virtual assistant,” he said. “It’s not meant to chase you, it’s meant to help you.”
I was a little embarrassed but also relieved. I thanked the man for his help and decided to go home and give the assistant another chance. I carefully logged into the app to see what it was capable of. To my surprise, it was actually really helpful. It had a variety of tools that could help me complete my tasks more efficiently than before.
Now, I’m grateful to have my virtual assistant by my side. I no longer have to worry about running from it, and instead I can use it to my advantage. Who knew a virtual assistant could be so helpful?
